Made with Retreat Foods Calm Hazelnut Cacao Superfood Spread, these cookies are super easy to whip up. They come out of the oven gooey and soft. Top them with sea salt, or not! Featuring cocoa, hazelnuts, cashews, nutmeg, vanilla and pink Himalayan sea salt, Retreat’s Calm nut spread is crafted with organic KSM-66 ashwagandha and reish, which have calming properties to support reduced stress and anxiety and enhance relaxation.

Ingredients

¼-½ c cocoa powder, sifted
2 c coconut sugar
2 c Retreat Calm Hazelnut Cacao Superfood Spread, room temperature
2 lg eggs (for vegan option, mix 2 T flax with 6 T water)

Steps

Preheat oven to 350°. Blend together cocoa powder and sugar. Add room-temperature Retreat Foods “Calm” cocoa hazelnut superfood spread and eggs. Beat until smooth.

Roll dough into 1½” balls on lined or non-stick baking sheet. Bake 8-10 min. Cool and top with sea salt, if desired.
