Just as Razi Nassib was discovering her knack for baking, macarons were emerging as the next big confectionary challenge. Bold and confident by nature, Razi got to work, eventually perfecting the finicky recipe.
“Every ingredient must be precisely measured for the macarons to turn out right,” she says.
Razi began sharing her macarons and baking tips with others, and soon enough her efforts snowballed into Angel Bake: the first complete French macaron baking mix on the market. Angel Bake makes it easy for anyone to bake gourmet-quality French macarons at home with their one-step mix.
Saëna Baking Co. offers a range of high-quality products to complement their macaron mix, including a buttercream frosting mix and flavor extracts. Razi uses only the best ingredients for all Saëna products, often scouring the earth to find them. The rose oil she uses to make extract is from Rose Valley, Bulgaria; the vanilla comes from Madagascar; and the peppermint extract is made from oil found right here in the Willamette Valley. With top-notch sourcing and the resulting pure aroma and flavor, Angel Bake’s extract line is also proving popular with baristas and mixologists.
“Our customers deserve the best and that’s what we strive for,” Razi says.
Saëna Baking Co. is dedicated to giving back to the Hillsboro Community Foundation where they offer baking classes.
